[quote="ef_falcon_95"]Xr spec springs will be good , I never upgraded mine , i did when I installed a 1521a though, still running the stiffer springs with my xr cam .
I gutted my cat, it stinks and does stuff all , just get a hi flow[/q instead of gutting your cat get a standard cat from the wreckers will get more power out of that than a gutted cat. If you gut your cat you get a cyclonic motion inside of your cat instead of it being forced out which is slower |

I can spot about 4 cars a day without a catalytic converter due to the heavy smell of sulfur...however that is on my bike, so I get the whiff pretty early. I suggest you go to a wrecker or something and grab a second hand cat...an AU would be better...supposedly flows better. In saying the above, if you get caught, don't cry about getting a massive fine...take it on the chin. Considering you live in the Northern suburbs, I'd suggest you keep a cat in it.

Also you have to get it fixed, get it EPA tested then get it cleared...so more cost involved. Your choice though. I mean I haven't heard anyone getting done, but fines CAN be high...not sure how lenient they are on that kind of stuff.
