Hey guys
i have had a BA for about a month now and i have to say the power of it is moody. Sometimes it feels like it just cant be bothered doing anything ( put foot down and does not want to rev ) other times it flies. Is there anything that would cause this. for instance today i was overtaking a truck that was doing about 60. i put the boot into it, it threw me back in my seat and i was doing 100+ in no time. about 5 mins after another truck i did the same but it had no were near as much power and the note from the engine was completely different . Any clue's |

Adaptive shift, electronic throttle control & fuel consumption strategies relative to driver input. If you drive it like a granny it will go into fuel miser mode which takes a bit longer to come back from when you want it in a hurry. If you drive it hard constantly it will usually be throwing fuel in etc and won't delay. If that all makes sense

Change the fuel filter and see if it improves.

Yeah i left it in PERF mod and took it for a spin and it gave me the power i wanted all the time just does not use 4th gear to over 150km/h witch is not good for fuel.
In ADPT mode it is random but so is my driving ill do a eco run to work avg 6.1 and then gun it on the way back so yeah guess the car is going to behave the same. So if i want the power i guess ill just have to leave it in PERF mode or Semi Auto and D for Dumb when cruising. |

The software that controls it runs on like a 150point system (performance points) iirc, putting it into performance bumps it up about 50 points instantly, the rest is up to throttle input.
