Im trying to install a
fuel pump to the right side of my motor but it dosnt seem to be working i dont think its pumping at all i got 2 hoses going into it and 1 comeing out and going strait to the xflow is that right allso out of those 2 hoses i blocked 1 and sucked the outher to see if i could get any fuel up but nuthen all i got was air and yes i put about 15 buvks fuel into it thanks

Firstly, what model is it? XE or XF? if it's an XE it wont be 86, 86 was XF. Secondly, are you sure you dont have the supply and return lines around the wrong way? that will cause the issues you are experienceing, and also make sure you dont have an EFI camshaft, they did NOT have the lobe to drive the mechanical fuel pump.

Ok fuel pump works but found out part of the return and fuel line has rusted out massive hole so im thinking of getting some tube abd running alone side the car strait to the fuel tank will it work
