Hi guys,

Since putting in my 12' Clarion Sub and amp I have lost the real deep bass that seems to be in a lot of Linkin Park songs, now it doesnt seem to deep.

When I just had the 3 way JL audio 6x9 in the back I could pick it up real well and It sounded just like I had a sub in the car.

Now I am thinking about not running the 6x9 off the amp and actually hooking the amp onto the 4' on the door.

So I am asking if my thinking seems right to get that deep bass back an also to equal the sound in my car instead of having it all in the back.

it sounds like you are looking for punchy bass.
each sub sounds different to each other.

get a 10 inch if you are looking for punchy bass that will help

make sure that settings are correct on the amplifier for the sub, not running full range, things like that

ensure that phasing is correct between the 6X9's and the sub. try unplugging the 6X9's and see if that improves ur bass. if it does, its more than likely you have phasing issues.

hope the brief answer helps!
