I recently took the spoiler off my ef fairmont because the paint was stuffed, the spoiler brake light was wired up to the left hand side brake light, once i removed the spoiler i noticed i had no brake lights but i have tail lights still so im not sure if i had no brake lights before i removed the spoiler or if something happend after i removed it.

If anyone has had this happen or know what it would be please let me know.

in the spoiler wiring find the wires for the brake light. put a small test globe on there and then try. could be that with the wires unconnected the circuit isnt getting completed somehow?

...lets just hope the wires didn't short when you tested the brake lights.

check fuse, brake light switch. The brake lights should still work even without the light globe...it's like having a blown globe and one eyed brake lights.
