MAF's are the most critical sensor on the V8 and you can't just slap any MAF on. It must have the same voltage:airflow that the factory MAF has. Or you need a chip programmed with the correct mass transfer data to suit a replacement MAF. Failure to follow these options will result in anything from non-optimal operation to engine destruction.

So if I replace the 65mm TB with a 70mm one I should also replace the 65mm MAF with a 70mm and if I use the MAF sensor out of the 65 with a tune it would be ok ?

MAF size is determined by engine power - 55mm = 275HP, 73mm = 350HP, 80mm = 425HP. I am not aware of any commonly available 65mm MAF's???

Your right I meant 70 & 75 got mixed up with the throttle body. I had a tune done and the tuner said I should fit a bigger maf then he would complete the tune and as I have a 70mm one so I figured a 75 would probably suit and a 70mm TB in place of the 65mm.

Does engine HP determine the size of the throttle body?
