Hi .It,s been a while ,but I have blown the head gasket 4lt6i what mods should I do while the head is off ? Nothing to $$$ .The wife is paying for it . I am in perth who should I go to ?

Re surface the head, new A.U gagset and new head bolts...Maybe new timing chain and guides depends on klrs ?? Obviously gagstes...

In that case, everything said above + port and polish, XR exhaust valves, uprated valve springs and a big cam!

Well not quite mods but well worth the time doing, firstly have the radiator flushed, have the head tested and the valves ground and seals replaced. As all the others say go for AU head gasket and new head bolts. Timing chain and guides only if needed.
While the exaust manifold is off (if not extractors) replace the gasket in the split. if the battery has been disconnected for a while the KAM will have to relearn, this may make the car run rough and weird on idle for about a week.
