You should invest in some chrome strips for your doors, bumpers, etc. They really freshens up the exterior and all. Check mine and you'll see what i mean. Other than that, mods are looking great, loving the parcel shelf, and keep up the good work! I'm planning on it, I'm also hoping to get some of the chrome moulds that go around the back part of the wheel arches. I'll probably do these things after I manage to get the car painted because that's going to go on the list of things to do... I can't manage to find your page, whats the link for it? I'm still hoping to do more work to the parcel shelf setup in the future, but that'll do for now...

I'm currently working on redesigning the instrument cluster face as I'm not at all keen with the one stock standard ones. I got my hands on Data's scans and revectored the background face so I could have a clean canvas to work with; MAD was kind enough to send me a copy of his in which I've pulled a few ideas from and I've also looked up othervarious cluster designs via the trusty google.
This is what I've got so far for the fuel gauge. I stress that this is in no way complete -- I'm somewhat concerned with where I've placed markings... I've changed their positions to reflect a more "Symethric" look, but I'm worried I'm going to through myself off. One way to find out I guess though... Any thoughts or suggestions are definitely welcome (Please ignore the fuel icon, I'm still not sure what I'm going to do with that).

Photo paper, I have heard is good, but its a s**t when you put the face on and find out the light is too bright. Looks very cool though. I reckon whack the fuel icon where the orange warning light comes on, like MAD did.

I reckon whack the fuel icon where the orange warning light comes on, like MAD did. I'm probably going to do a test on a few different papers; I've spoken with MAD and found out what he did it on and what he'd recommend if he did it again so I'm going to play around with it. As for the lighting, I've got an idea for how to handle that as well -- which is exactly the same as Ford handle it as well (refer pictures below). It'll take some fiddling around, but should hopefully have it knocked out by next weekend. I've been thinking of getting what my missus has -- a 2003-5 Toyota Camry Altise Sportivo and just keeping it relatively stock as it's a nice and respectable car, maybe do some small mods, but nothing more than that. The other option is getting something vintage, that will appreciate in value. As per an image on the front page, I'm thinking that I might get a 1962 S Series Valiant. I've been into them for years, grew up around them as well as the old man had several that have dwindled off throughout the years. He's got one now, but its in a restoration stage as well.

That ding in the door should be able to be massaged out, my driver door was bent in something severe and a bit of massaging and bog and it's barely noticeable. Awesome thread so far dude, that blue dashboard surround looks a treat!
