Just had a though looking at that sump that has the from modified I was wondering if you could fit a AU sump with that mod to an EF block?

New with that same mod do you think it would be possible to remove and replace the sump in the car?

I was just thinking the AU sump being mad out of ally might have a better gasket seal there for no leaks the old tin sump is a shocker for leaking.

No, you can't. The AU has cross bolted mains that tun through the sump.

It wont fit. Also, the tin sumps can be made to seal effectively.
