I want to put a BA / BF sequential shifter into my EF and actually have it work in sports / manual mode . Has anyone done it before and if so is there a thread , I looked but could not find one .

anything can be done but you would be looking at custom gear box to fix, new ecu lots of stuffing around and probs just not worth it

yes can be done, i think theres a tech doco on how to do it on another forum though,

Can be done. Has been done. 'dellboy999' was the person to do it to the EA... retaining his EA gearbox. Can't be f**k finding the doco/info (searching by username may help)

I read that tech doco and had a look into it for my EF. The issue if i remember is how it shifts. When you use tiptronic and tap it up a gear, its lets it change, but doesnt force it to. So if your in second it wont change into third until you bump it, but if youve got your foot to the floor, it still wont change until IT wants to.
