a LED test light and a bit of wire to earth out the diagnostic plug

i forgot i posted this. when i posted this in august the light had come one, cycled the key, never come on again until yesterday. whatever the problem is it must be only minor, still i have to check it out

i finally did this. LOL. 6 months later.

it has code 13 in it if anyone knows what it is

UA GL 2.0L code 13 = oxygen sensor
UA GHIA 2.4L code 13 = engine temp sensor circuit

i said to the missus i bet thats it. may have been bought on by the cracked manifold. but it's now been changed and so has the O2 sensor.

but then again on the other hand the temp gauge doesn't work

yet again this car has bought on the ECM light. it's worse on hot days too.

so when i get the code number i'll post on here and hope someone has the answer

well the engine light has been on and off. i finally got of my a** and checked the codes again. still 13. so i guess i'll try a o2 sensor first. and then get the temp gauge not working issue fixed
