Probably best to use the PW delay - check the docos for the BEM pin no - don't know if the low series had it enabled, easily checked though.
Worse case scerario I guess is fit a mid series BEM to use that function - should be able to get one of those pretty cheapily, if not free.

So iv been pondering these ideas for the past couple of days and was wondering if it would be possible to use both the power window and interior light wiring.
I want it connected to the interior lighting because I liked the idea of the head lamps coming on when I opened the door. And hopefully they would dim too. But I also want it connected to the power window delay because idea of having the lights stay on for a short period of time after leaving the car sounds great. Then intertwine all that with an auto headlight system. I think now its starting to get a bit complicated, but ill still give it a go. Hopefully it won't be too hard. |

{USERNAME} wrote: Well, mine works . . . Hey man, you should do a tutorial on that headlight switch of yours. It sounds easy enough with that brief description you gave me, but I wouldn't be entirely sure on how to go about it. I think other members here would also be interested in this mod. I also found some threads relating to this topic so they're all in one place, and prevent topic re-posts: ford-interior-f14/automatic-headlights-when-unlocking-t7564.html post1119698.html |
