How did you go fitting yours ? Did you have to panel beat the trans tunnel or cut it for shifter?
And did you buy it as a complete kit from mal wood ?

Cheers

Had to cut about 20mm - 40mm to get the shifter to pop through. No panel beating in the trans tunnel was needed. I also modified the t5 crossmember to fit the tko. My kit cost me about 5k all up. I bought the box,Bellhousing and tail sharft second hand for about $3000. Clutch was around $2000 (You wont need one of these clutches most likely though) and i bought a shifter link kit from Mal Wood that bought the shifter back to the original position. I think that was around the $150 mark.

Cheers , the tko 600 is on eBay for $3000 from Sydney . I could just use my t5 bellhousinh and the the adaptor plate made up to reduce the length of the input shaft . If I went tko 500 I can keep my 10 spline clutch , you have the tko 600 which has the 26 spline input shaft ? . I'll be looking into one in the future . They seem like a easy conversion .

Im guessing yours is the ford version ? Whats the difference between ford and gm versions ?

U can get 42 lb or 60 lb from eBay . $250-$300.

Is the tko hydraulic clutch or cable ?

to fit a tko you can buy a spacer/addapter plate from malwood to join the tko to the factory bellhousing so you can use your std clutch and clutch cable..

although there still is the option of the malwood hydraulic conversion..

I'd keep the cable, can a 26 spline clutch be used with cable ?

yes,
but you then need to find a clutch to suit the 26 spline input..or go with a xr6t flywheel and clutch.
