Hi Guys,

Noticed this leaking on my recently aquired XH ute, sits up above the diff with a chain and spring connected to the diff and lines running to the rear brakes, it looks like some sort of wheel cylinder?
does anyone know what the actual name of it is?

I dunno what the name is, but I assume it adjusts the brakes according to the amount of weight you have on the back?

Its a Brake proportioning valve. it adjusts the rear brake force depending on load.
