My EF had 4480's before the LPG was installed. I've got PRINS VSI injection though and I think the converter might be more compact than other systems. The gas installer didn't appear too worried about the 4480's being on the car. After the LPG install, I put some head shielding around the 4480's to try and keep heat off the converter and hoses.
If you can, I'd get the other headers that are recommended for LPG installations though as the 4480's are quite close to the converter. Or just stay with the standard manifold as you'll lose some low down torque with the 4480's.

The converter and associated parts can be no closer then 140mm with out a heat shield,
This can be reduced to 40mm with the fitment of a heat shield not less the 15mm from the protected item/s. |
