Hi folks,

I'm new to this forum having just purchased an XG from a mate in need of a little work.

One thing I'm wanting to do though is convert it from buckets to a bench seat.

Just wondering what the legal requirements might be seams it has 2 seats on the compliance plate and would I be able to use XF bench and column or do I need to have the XG ones?

I have also seen people modify behind the seat to give it more room, what is required to do this, can I just cut out the panel and weld it in straight to fill in the hollow under the back window?

Many thanks,

Damo

The XG's have the same floor pan as the E series, differs from the XF.
I just put EB buckets in to my xg, as XF are different so I assume you would have to use an XG bench.
