Ok, first off, what a stupid place to put the ignition coil. I spent a few hours yelling, swearing and getting my hands cut up to get nothing done.
Now thats off my chest, anyone have any suggestions on how to remove a rounded bolt on the top of the ignition coil? The top bolt holding in the bracket is rounded, the one you can't actually see. Also the replacement Bosch one I have seems to have a different terminal location, they appear to be on top. Thanks much. |

remove the coil from the bracket and then get a set of vice grips onto it, that's about all you can do, eithier that or pull the manifold off and you open up your options greatly.
Gab EDIT: Another option is to mount the new coil somewhere else and forget the old one even exists, lol |

If all else fails I'll be moving the coil to a new location LOL. |

If all else fails I'll be moving the coil to a new location LOL. You dont need to remove the fuel rail to remove the manifold dude just undo all the bolts with a spanner, not a ratchet. Gab |

Back bolts are a prick to get to, a ratchet spanner makes life so easy, dont forget where all the hoses/wires go, and make sure u get the fuel lines around the right way or it wont start when u put it back together. Other than that not much have fun.

Other than that not much have fun. Gab I've got the ratchet spanners, tools shouldn't be an issue. I'll take out the inlet manifold, airbox and piping. I also want to do the dizzy cap and rotor button so might as well as do that crap while I'm down there. |

buy a new coil and make up an extention cable and move the coil somewhere better
