I am having some trouble starting my car. It's an EF Fairmont dual fuel. The problem is I can only start it on straight gas by pressing and holding the LPG switch for about 3 seconds. It's a sprint gas system. If I try to turn it over without doing that the car will never start, Also I can't hear the fuel pump engage. I've tested the connector in the actual fuel pump in the boot and it has no power. Can anybody on here please help me out with this problem and give me some sort of Idea where to diagnose next.

It could be your fuel pump I needed a new one a few months back as it wouldn't start on petrol, mechanic said there was a small valve or something on the side of the pump that had come off (and likely still in the tank) which stooped the pump working, problem was you can't get that bit separately so entailed a new pump
