I think a centrifugal setup is better for a non built motor Boss 260 as per the OP.
Are these motors really designed for supercharging? As cylinder pressure and heat is most at the point of maximum torque, the centri is not overloading it with boost at this point where the KenNe Bell would be blasting it. As the motor revs and goes past the peak torque point the cylinder pressure drops and the Centrifual starts to pick up the slack, adding boost when the motor can best handle it. Sure the characteristics of the Kenne Bell are better to drive with all the low down torque but on a motor not designed for it? The vortech will be more forgiving to the stock motor.
