have a friend who has an 08 FG went to start it this afternoon and has nothing, dash coming up car immobilized but nothing else, starter relay is clicking

anyone have any bright ideas?

I had this happen to mine. Every light came on and it wouldnt start. I disconnected the battery for 5 mins hooked it back up again and it was fine. not exactly sure what caused though.

yep flat battery

i put mine in for warranty work, and thats how the car was given back to me. wouldnt start, and showed a bunch of faults. service guys got it going with jumper pack, and told me my battery was rooted. nothing to do with them leaving the door open and headlights on for the 3 hours or more it took to replace a glove box....
