Hi guys
I've done a front shock on my el 18 inch 2 35/40 tyres. Is it really worth the money to put Pedders sport rider suspension on it or should i just put monro shocks with king springs? And is it as easy to put them on yourself as ive heard people say? would i be saving myself alot if i do do it myself?Any ideas guys? Thanks Zendog |

From personal experience if you have king springs go with boge shocks. My old EL sedan drive extremely well with a king spring and boge shock combination and I am currently working with a suspension shop sorting out suspension on my current ride and there recommendation with his 30 years experience was king springs and boge shocks

I have EL XR6 springs with Pedders GSR shocks and SuperPro bushes all round in my 93 ED sedan.
The ride is very firm to harshish. I also have custom made heat-sinks on my shockies too, to keep fade in check, coz the roads are crap around here. Monroe GT shocks work OK with King springs or Lovells.

How much is the pedders gear going to set you back??? I have used Boge, KYB and now have bilstein. If your going to keep your car for at least 2 years and do at least 25,000kms then go for Bilstein or Koni as there worth the money hands down... The difference is night and day and you will appreciate the ride & performance they offer!!!
