hi guys i have a 2000 model festiva with a kia engine and currently have struck an issue with it. recently replaced all thr plugs leads dizzy cap rotor button fuel filter air filter. now it has a miss when you go to accelerat and when you are travelling at sixty k's and want to accelerate some more it bunny hops something mad. any ideas from fellow ford festiva owners. please.

did you get the right spark plugs and are they gapped correctly, if its got a distributor did you knock the timing out of place? is the fuel filter installed the correct way?

yeah all that is fine it runs really good at idle but when you accellerate it will miss and carry on. in gear at traffic lights it will miss and play up. when you take off it will miss and hop.

Are the HT leads on the right way????....you know, correct position, whether it be on the dizzy cap or the spark plugs ????
