Hi everyone,

I have a 97 Xh falcon series 1 that I need to replace the alarm and central locking in. The previous owner had one installed but when I had to remove the pedal box to get it strengthened I was shocked and appalled by what I discovered which leads me to my current predicament.

From what I understand my ute from factory did not have central locking but it has however been installed along with an alarm. There is a Mongoose M20S alarm and MDK4100G central locking kit on ebay that I am interested in purchasing since it is my price range but I would like to you get your opinions on it first.

I have no problem with doing the electrical work myself and I would actually prefer it since if theres ever another problem I know what I did and It would make it easier for me to troubleshoot it.

Any ideas on what I should do?

also if you advise me against doing it myself please let me know of any reputable installers in the brisbane area.
