well as the description says, the shock is cracked at around the top of the body where its end has been welded on, its not leaking anything/ its working as usual, but im wondering what caused my problem and should it be replaced under waranty even though i fitted it myself? theres no left to right movement of the diff when i drive, or backwards/forwads of course, so is it just a faulty item, they are standard size shocks recomended for standard or low spring and thats all im running.
thanks ps ill upload a picture soon when i refit my wheel

If they are still under warranty it would be covered , regardless of who fitted it . What brand are they ?

Looks like a faulty manufacture not damaged.

Doesn't looked cracked to me in that pic....just a daggy edge of the weld...which is common...with any brand of shockie.
