Hey guys,
Just thought i'd throw this up for anyone out there who wants a ratty but reliable car before I get the front end sprayed. 2003 (2004 delivered) BA Futura 145,000km's (full service history, last serviced at 140,000) 4 Speed Auto 4 Litre 6 ... The good: Mechanically sound, get in and drive it Suspension bushes all fine Tow pack All electrics (even AC) work fine Tyres are fine It's easy to drive... The bad: The front bar, headlight and guard were damaged due to a Kangaroo. All 3 have been replaced, but the front end hasn't beed painted yet, so the front bar is grey, the guard is black, the rest of the car is blue. There are various other nicks, scrapes and dents along the car, nothing devistatingly bad, but the body is not as straight as it could be The paint badly needs a polish Interiors... alright, theres a cigarette burn on the rear seat, the lid for the ash tray is broken and the bonnet release is broken (the plastic which makes it look pretty is broken, pulling it still opens the bonnet) No registration (well, runs out tomorrow), won't need anything for a RWC though I don't think I haven't fitted the front bar yet, but it's sitting in the car and i'll do it when I get time. The inner guard is fine and will be fitted as well. Reason i've taken the photos before putting the bar on is to show that there is no damage to anything under the panels. Everyone knows what a BA looks like anyway. Here is the worst of the body damage (besides the front end) Would make a good family hack/tow car that you don't care about too much, or a cheap P plater car. Cheers
