I have a LSD 3:45 I got it 2ed hand it worked fine now it's only a single spinner :( I have been tolled its the cones how hard are they to take out and get new ones?

Big pain in the butt, Need specialised tools and knowledge, better off to get a complete diff disc to disc

if you have a bit of mechanical knowledge you will be able to do it, buying another diff doesnt guarantee that it will work good as they arent the best design and wear out pretty quick. i rebuilt my lsd, just shimmed it up with a 0.7mm shim i made and it is nice and tight :)

Pretty sure you can't replace the cones with out machining the centre .
