Hey, couple of questions: My EF seems to build up alot of finely powdered Gravel, under ther bonnet, mainly around the brake booster area (I'll post a pic) And firstly, I'm wondering if EF's and EL's normally do this (The XF and the NC we have dont seem to do it much) and secondly, is there a way to prevent it? Also, under the bootlid, between the body and the seal in that lip that goes around there, lots of leaves build up, and the lip fills up with water whever it rains and whenever I wash the car. This is annoying, as I have to regularlly clean it out, as it could probably cause rust. Also if I dont clean it out semi regularlly it builds up enough that water leaks into the boot. Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

My EL always gets a tonne of leaves in the boot area, it's never leaked though. That gravel under the bonnet is strange though - perhaps you have a hole in your wheel arch plastic?

I was about to ask if there is any inner guard at all... my ea used to do that after I took the inner guards out.

RE: The no inner gaurds, thanks for this guys, I reckon that may be the problem as my car is missing them, I'll pick some up from the wreckers next week.
