Wondering if someone could help me out identifying the problem.
Ok there is a knock just left of the end of the drivers footwell, it doesn't follow the travel of suspension or rev's of the engine and doesn't do it when going around a corner, only when driving in a straight line from 0 to about 120 after than I think you just can't feel it or hear it, It happened a couple of times after having the power steering rack changed, Since then I have lowered it on sl springs and gt monroe short shocks and added whiteline sway bars and links. since the sway bars where add it has just being going crazy. Im thinking floor pan clicking over itself? Any thoughts? |

A common cause of knocking in au front end is sway bar D bushes ,the standard D bush bracket raps around the sides of the bush and when the bushes are a bit worn the sway bar hits the sides under load making quite a loud clunk sound just like a worn ball joint .
You can buy after market brackets that don't rap round ,im pretty sure nolathane pedders etc do them & change the d bush to urathane ps be careful not to do the D clamp bolts too tight as they can strip quite easy The type on the right makes noise the type on the left doesn't |

The sway bars came with the d bush, I will have to take them off again and see which ones they where and I'll give red ranger a call tomorow about the bracket
