Just flew back in from up North (car been sitting idle for 3 weeks).

Car turned over, all electronics worked, spark, fuel etc but refused to start. Jump started but didnt help (trying process of elimination). I thought it could be Smartlock related issue and tried the relearning procedure, now theres no dash warning lights or any signs of life. CTRLMP fuse is fine but I dont have the courtesy lamp come on.

It's got me stumped, any other ideas?

Cheers
Kezz

Hi,

How did you check the fuse? A visual indication proves squat... You always need to check a fuse with a multimeter or test light...

It wont need to be re-learned... If it cranks then the smartlock is working...

Have you checked for spark? Can you hear the fuel pump prime?

Cheers,
Tim

There are 3 things that prevent an engine from working:

1: spark

2:mechanical (includes compression)

3: fuel

If you have spark, and everything else goes up and down and round and round as it should, then it MUST be fuel
