Hey so i got my sound system installed 2 days ago..and ive been pumping it at level 50 with no problems then all sudden today at volume 40 it keeps cutting out ..i cant go any higher then 40?..Is the amp lacking power and requires a capacitor?..or wtf is going on?..

How long is it at 40 for? Might be overheating

Yeah im thinking overheating too...I always pump it 50 with the car shaking and loud as possible..I litteraly turn it to 40 instantly and it cuts out lol..Need a bigger amp?..Running a 1200W Sony xplod amp for Front Moreal speakers with tweeters, Rear alpine type R 6'8inch speakers..Then my Rem cord is running from the xplod amp to the kicker amp running my 2 12'' kickers
