Hey so i got my sound system installed 2 days ago..and ive been pumping it at level 50 with no problems then all sudden today at volume 40 it keeps cutting out ..i cant go any higher then 40?..Is the amp lacking power and requires a capacitor?..or wtf is going on?..

maybe check the fuses in your amp maybe they have blown or in your amp able to keep up the out put of power and cuts off before it over loads, because it happened to me when i got my kicker system in i had 8 speakers and a sub running off one amp and kept blowing so i bought a new amp and ran my sub off its own amp and now i blow my ear drums before anything else lol

Yeah checked all amps and see if it was overheating or not but in the end it was a faulty speaker lol random as
