hey everyone. yesterday i purchased a ba fairmont ghia 2002 model because someone decided to pull out in front of me in my el (rip) last week. already i have noticed a few little problems and wondering if anyone could help?
first problem is not all the movements on the electric seat work, it wont go up or down, and at the moment its right up and i feel like im almost touching the roof, it sucks. it will go back and forth and tilt but thats is all. where would i take it to get fixed or could if be something simple? second is the driving/fog lights in the lower half of the front bumper dont work. from what i have read apparently there was an issue with them when released. i dont have a fog light switch and some say they are just ment to be on when the lights are on. mine dont work at all. not with indicators or anything. but there is wires going to them? any help would be much appreciated cheers, jay

ok so the left one comes on while indicating, either left or right. are both lights ment to come on no matter which way you indicate?>

they are cornering lights, not fog lights. the left one should come on with the left indicator and right one with right indicator. as for the seat, have you checked the plugs under the seat to make sure it is plugged in properly? are they the original seats to the car and not replacements from a higher spec car like a fairlane? (fairmont ghia and fairlane leather seats have different designs, and i believe the fairlane one has more electric adjustments available on it)
