as the title says, i am after the recommended torque setting for a V8 supercar centre wheel nut, i have had recomendations varying from 700nm to 10,000nm.

I have contacted harrop engineering who make them, but they have no idea about how much torque needs to be applied to tighten them properly....

At the moment just using a rattle gun set to 1000nm...

Hopefully someone out there has some experience or a connection with a V8 team, or knows someone who would know the answer to this question!
