Hi all,
just had to replace a fan belt on my 351 c on Saturday, bought a Bosch belt (the one with cogged sort of appearance) and its a bit noisy at higher revs (above say 3 grand) - made me think of the last time I changed a belt on a 6 cyl ford, same noise with a new cogged Bosch belt..
Anybody else had this problem with a Bosch belt? It seems specific to the cogged design (oh, I should be more specific, this is with an older V belt type setup, not the new serpentine type belts..)

Dunno whether to just ignore it and hope it wears in or buy a different brand?

Typically belt noise has nothing to do with the brand of the belt, rather belt tension & bearing condition.
