Hi guys i recently picked up a lsd diff for my el with 3.27s in it. I am after good all round performance as the car is a daily. Just wondering if its worth the hassle going up to 3.45s? Is there much difference between the 2?

Thanks in advance.

Depends on where your power is made and what trans you have.
IMO the 3.23:1 wins for manuals and the 3.45:1 for auto's

Surely with so many boosted cars, 'you' could figure out what works best.

Well the car is stock standard.I am chasing good all round performance.
The car is a auto.
However in the future I may put a baby cam, extractors, and exhuast. And maybe, just maybe a turbo/supercharger.

I have been told going up from the 3.27 upto the 3.45 will barely make any difference and not worth the cost.

difference is small, however going from an AU fairmont with 3.45 to one with a 3.23 i did certainly notice it being more sluggish down low
