Lately I've noticed that when I start my EL Fairmont up early on cold mornings, The indicators flash very slowly until the car warms up. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Could it be the flasher unit on the way out perhaps?

i could be wrong but what is your battery like? might be low after starting til the alternator boosts it up again.

I had the battery tested last week and it is perfect....Near new infact. The alternator is less than a year old too. My first thought was the battery as well but it starts straight away every time.

id be leaning towards the flasher can then, while its cold the bi-metallic strip will take longer to warm up, once its hot it'll be back to normal

I'll try another flasher and see how that goes...Hopefully that fixes the problem (It's the only thing I can really think of).
I'll let you know how it goes.
Cheers.

Turned out to be the flasher unit as I'd suspected. This morning the indicators were so slow...Now with the new Bosch flasher unit the indicators are like new once again.
