Wondering if swapping a 6 na for a 6 turbo is just bolt in of if engine mounts ect need to be changed. The turbo engine is coming out of and going into a manual.

it is straight bolt in. Extra wiring looms, diff ratio and box strengthening will also be required.

As Ford didn't make a XR6T cab chassis buying one isn't an option. I would need to buy a well-body, remove the tray and put on a flat try (which I need for various reasons).
I bought my XR6 cab chassis brand new so would like to keep it. The XR6T 6 speed is different than the XR6 6 speed? I am thinking about buying a written of XR6T ute so I would have all wiring the box if I needed to change that as well as well as the exhaust and all piping. |
