Does anyone have a PDF file on the procedure for setting base idle on a 1997 EL Falcon/Fairmont? Any help would be much appreciated.

It's been done in the factory manual, and many other service manual reproductions, and even quite a few times on fordmods.

A little searching will reveal the answers in detail.

But as a basic guide, you need to put the car in to diagnostic mode, put a 0.75mm feeler gauge under the throttle stop screw, disconnect ISC, and adjust idle to 750rpm +-100rpm.
