Hey im planning to replace the rotors & Pads on my AU front and rear.
Want to know the steps in the process.. I heard something about repacking wheel bearings after doing it and wasnt sure. There is probably already a similar topics on here but i couldnt find anything AU Specific so any help would be awesome. Thanks

front is easy.
take off the wheel remove the caliper disk should come off with ease then slide the new disk on BEFORE you push the pistons back in make sure the brake fluid cap is OFF otheer wise yit can pop off and you will have brake fluid through the engine bay and if that s**t gets on ya paint that panel is f**k. the brake fluid will get into the metal and can not be removed. while the old pads are in the caliper use a g-clamp the push the pistons back in change the pads slide the caliper back into place bolt it all back on. rear is the same just a little trickier because of the handbrake shoes can be tight depending on how worn everything is Last edited by scottichaos on Fri Jun 29, 2012 6:19 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

you dont bother with repacking the hub grease. if the hubs are loose the bearings are f**k.
you can buy replacement hubs(complete) from Repco for about $60-$70 ea |
