Hi guys,
this is my first EL.
I have had many fords in my life, like v8 capris and Cortinas a 13 second XY
Many XR-XY's a nice XL etc.
My reason for getting the Fairmont was to get to and from work in a car I could
purchase cheap, that looked ok.
It needs a little TLC but all in all it's a good car
This is what I know about it.
97 model
Tickford motor which goes really well
LSD ratio unknown
Lowered with pedders/ king springs all round
Slotted brake rotors on all 4 corners
18 inch wheels
2.5 inch exhaust with high flow cat
So if anyone can help me identify what I have please feel free to let me know
Or what I can do to find out
I'm after a few bits for it like a front seats so if you have some for sale let me know

What have you got planned for it?

went to my sisters farm over the weekend and my nephew has this ef xr6 copy that he blew the bottom end in and gave me some bits.
I added a Jim Mock Motorsport ultra intake today

el fairmont ghia, factory lsd, tickford driveline standard.

Very nice look mont you have there ron, I like the black dish wheels on the dark green looks mint, you will find the LSD will be the factory tickford item with the 3.45:1 ratio, engine will be out of the XR6 so better head and cam, looks like you have a set of pacemaker extractors on her aswell which i think might be 4499's like mine.
