what i needed to know was where can i buy em? is it a backyard job? and if so hows it done? will i have to replace/top up the break fluid? thanks

it depends on what calipers you want? do u really need to upgrade them? why not just do slotted discs with decent pads...
its fairly easy if u know what your doing, crack the 2 bolts that hold the caliper in take the hose off, put on new caliper, then you'll need to bleed the brakes and top up fluid.. y do u want to upgrade? |

sorry if i used the wrong terminology but not after the whole caliper, just the seals around the piston, my mechanic did the rears and called the parts a caliper kit. its because my front pads are sticking.

If the brakes are sticking, that could also be the bushes that the bolts go through that hold the caliper on. I'm not sure of the pricing but I'm certain you can buy them. You can also buy the seals for the pistons in a kit to rebuild the whole thing.

i bought the kits from repco, went down yesterday turned out they had em. now just gotta find out how to install them.
im pretty sure this is the problem as the rears had the same issue, and the front have never been changed on the car before (05 model)
