hi guys i bought a stock xr6 a while back and have started doing it up
so far i have:
-changed the grill appearance
-chrome pin stripe
-kenwood 1200watt sub, run by stock amp (premium sound system)
-2.5 inch redback exhaust system with high flow cat

what did you change the grille to?

ive been looking at getting a sub for mine and am wondereing how you hooked it up to the stock amp and how it sounds

I just painted it chrome and then bought a lower grille and did the same. The sub sounds good and by running it off The stock amp it just means you don't get as good performance from the sub but it still sounds good and the stock amp means I can't blow the sub up because the amp isn't powerful enough. I just hooked it up with speaker wire I think 8 gauge from the amp to the sub

Id be careful with under-powering the sub - it can be alot worse than over-powering it. Keen to see some pics mate!
