Hi, I have recently purchased a second hand genuine ford hardlid removed from a ba xr8, came with everything except one lock bracket, so have sent it off to the paint shop and now have it back, looks really good.

Would anyone have a lock bracket with the four screw holes in it?

Also am having trouble fitting the gas struts to the tub, I obtained a AU-BA Hardlid fitting instructions, the measeant they say to fit the gas strut bracket to the tub is 880mm from the front inside of the tub and 60mm down from the side. The thing there seems no metal behind the tub liner to fix into, yet they say that the screws have to fix into the metal.

Would anyone have a genuine ford BF fitting instructions, have looked on google and can't find it and have also asked ford and they are just useless.
