Hi I'm looking at getting new drilled and slotted rotors for my EL falcon off ebay, just wondering if anyone has bought them off eBay before, and if which ones are the best / ones to keep away from.
I'm looking at these ones, opinions appreciated: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-FALCON- ... 6954wt_932 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Disc-Brake-R ... 925wt_1378 OR - There's a full set here 30% Off http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FORD-EF-EL-X ... 002wt_1164

Anything else doesn't even get a look in from me. |

Wouldn't go for cheap brakes.
Wouldn't even go for drilled rotors, bit unnecessary and can crack if they are cheap build quality or under high temperature. If you want the drilled effect, but don't want cracking, grab some slotted and dimpled rotors.

The third set I have the same brand and style from the same seller on the ute and the Ghia and to honest I reckon they are great. I cant fault them at all.

Whilst it's nothing to brag about, I to have used the cheap rotors and never had a problem. Done 20,000ks which is more than I can say for the standard rotors that were machined and put back on a lighter vehicle and still lasted alot less.
Cheap rotors may be cheap but they have to be better than the chewing gum ford used for the standard ones. It also doesn't see track use either but they've held up when needed. depends on how you use it.
