put some heat into the silicon hose to soften it a little, eg hot water...

3" fits and it is damn tight.
As mentioned before, hot water works...boiling water, even better. Just don't burn yourself

True, the 80mm will be a little loose on a 3" pipe but he asked what size fits the TB which is 80mm. Mine use was not for a 3" pipe so didn't worry me. |

Err...
You can buy silicone reducers. A 3.25" to 3" reducer, either straight or 90deg, works great.

You can, but if you are simply joining a 3inch intake to the TB, 3inch hose fits and isn't at all difficult to get on.

Why bother with difficult if you can just buy the right part?
