Got an old XF and thinking about putting a half decent setup into it.
Will it need engineering to pass rego or not? will be on LPG only, polly only a 302 as well. |

yea, you'll need an engineers certificate
to confirm, contact your local department of transport office

You decided to ditch the LTD for a bit less weight in the quest for your record eh? XF ute would have way more potential that that Iron brick you got now.

You ar egoing to have to get a engineer cert. That is a given. YOu will need a gas ticket as well, but I am sure you already know that. You will then need a lot of patience and understanding with the people in at d**k, cause that is where you are going to have to take the car to get it regoed, and they are a bunch of a**hole when it comes to mods. Trust me. Then again, they may just not like me, but I cant believe that being the nice guy that I am

hell no, this is just for work, need better tax deductions and my wagon is a bit sick, so I was thinking of marrying my XD wagon, an XF ute, and an XE ute, with all the good stuff leftover from my LTD, and it should make a pretty tuff work car and cost me minimal funds. I doubt the FD will break anything but itself, I am looking for an FC to fully mod up, with 4 link, mini tubs, cage, etc then put all the bits from my FD into it. |
