Got myself a nokia carkit for my new phone, and went out and bought an Aerpro mounting bracket (to suit EF-EL Falcon) but cannot for the life of me find anywhere to install it without actually drilling holes into the console.

I cannot get it to line up with any existing screwholes and am now totally stumped. The most sensible location for it is to the left of the ashtray, but even then only one hole lines up which means i still have to drill.

Before i do that, i thought i'd ask if anyone else here has a better idea?

drill the holes in the mounting bracket to suit the car ?

Any update on this? I have also bought an Aerpro PB71 phone mount bracket and cannot find where to mount it. Any help would be appreciated.
