What can i use to keep rubber from drying out and cracking. The window sill rubber seal on my NL has gone rock hard and scratched the glass. I've got a new one but dont want the same thing happening.

I remember one of our members had replaced their EF/L window rubbers with EA/D ones. They are felt instead of rubber and won't scratch and make window operation etc much smoother. Not sure if NA/C ones will fit an NL, perhaps EA/D wagon ones (being LWB as well) would be the go?

The one i'm referring too is the one on the window sill, that seals up against the glass to stop water running down into the door. Its all one piece with the chrome trim that goes from the door mirror across the other side above the door handle.
NC would probably be different. |
