Not sure, it was out of a s2 or 3 wreck but a previous owner may have put it in there from a s1. Deff a chaser has the calibration function and says police next to the serial number.

Nice find!

...Any chance you can make a high resolution scan of the cluster face? http://www.fordmods.com/ford-interior-f14/making-custom-ef-el-dash-cluster-faces-buy-idea-idea-t109232.html is looking at doing custom cluster faces and I'd love to get the chaser one for my EL Fairmont.

Not quite sure as I've never had mine out let alone apart, but isn't the face just screwed on? Can't you just unscrew the front plastic, remove the needles then remove whatever is holding the faces in? I remember seeing a thread about changing your dash face somewhere...
Also not quite sure how hires this guy wants. I have a cheap scanner here but not sure if it would do a good enough quality for reproduction.

Thanks, but since I'm only interested in the more precise dash reading (and not in the speedo calibration) a real chaser cluster would be overkill.

Does the EL Chaser go to 240 or 220?

Ahhk. I thought like the AU it went to 240 which would mean you couldnt use the face on a standard cluster my bad haha

dismantle the cluster and maybe take a photo of were each needle goes then remove needles forks work well n apply even pressure pulling up then remove all fiascas snd take the backin off and scan at 600dpi+ n upload the high res pix :)
