Hey ya'll. Ok, I've got a Growler Intake on my BA XR6 NA. I was reading somewhere that the plastic piping going from the intake to the TB is really restrictive and that a custom one would allow better air flow..
is this true? is it worth it on a non turbo car? and if it is worth it, how would I go about making myself up a better one?

cheers.

I barely noticed a difference when I had a complete 3" Stainless intake from the intake to TB. All I noticed was the intake was rubbing on the bonnet lining, and causing massive vibrations.

If you want to change the intake, maybe think of a way to flip it to the left (like the FG's for eg) so it's a direct intake path? I've been looking for something like that, but have had no luck lol
